The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga joins the 1st Inter-Agency Sports Festival, spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture (DA) Caraga.

During the opening ceremony last November 10, 2023, DA Regional Executive Director Ricardo Onate expressed gratitude to the different National Government Agencies (NGAs) who accepted their invitation and, with high spirits, participated in DA’s initiative.

The Angels in Red Vests to play as the Black Panthers representing the Field Office, are ready to fight for the win in the series of games and different categories: Basketball, Volleyball for men and women, and Badminton.

The 1st Inter-Agency Sports Festival is aligned with the Civil Service Commission’s Memorandum Circular No. 38, series of 1992, which encourages the conduct of physical and mental fitness programs for government personnel to achieve long-term health through exercise and related physical fitness activities.

Moreover, this activity is an opportunity to build camaraderie amongst government employees toward unity.
