This Christmas, DSWD is taking its commitment a step further by ensuring that the children in the Agency’s Centers and Residential Care Facilities (CRCF) experience the joy and warmth of the festive season. The agency is making a concerted effort to make them feel that they are an integral part of the DSWD Field Office Caraga family, much like the workers’ own children.

From festive decorations to special holiday events, Field Office Caraga is weaving the magic of Christmas into the lives of the residents from its CRCFs—the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) and the Home for Girls (HFG). Staff members dedicate their time and efforts to celebrate the spirit of the season.

The aim is to show and make residents feel that they are valued, loved, and deserving of the same joy that any child should experience during the holidays.
