The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga is encouraging the Local Government Units (LGUs) that are recipients of LAWA at Binhi (Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished) to have access to Listahanan 3 database.
The Listahanan 3 database is a comprehensive list that contains information on households and or individuals eligible for social protection programs based on their socioeconomic status.
During the 3rd day of the Risk Resiliency Program LGU Forum cum Strategic Planning Workshop 2024 held on April 25, 2024 at VCDU Prince Hotel, Villa Kanangga, Regional Associate Statistician (RAS) Merry Jane Benitez had the chance to promote the Listahanan 3 database to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officers (MSWDOs).
She also presented that the database can generate data such as employed poor individuals 15 years old and above whose primary occupation is fishing and whose primary occupation is farming and plant growing.
Other than LAWA at Binhi, the LGUs can use Listahanan for different programs and services implemented in their localities.
LAWA at Binhi is implemented under the Risk Resiliency Program through a Cash-for-Training and Work, which aims to mitigate the ill effects of the El Nino phenomenon and strengthen the adaptive capabilities of economically disadvantaged and vulnerable families. Under the said project, the target beneficiaries are families of Farmers, Fisher Folks, Indigenous Peoples, and other climate and disaster – vulnerable families identified as poor by Listahanan 3 or upon assessment and validation of the Local Social Welfare and Development Office (LSWDO).
