Veruela, Agusan del Sur – Two Self – Employment Kaunlaran Associations (SKAs) in the town of Veruela, AdS were given P300,000.00 each by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP)  to start their micro-enterprise businesses.

RD Brigoli challenged the beneficiaries to continue persevere and work hard with the capital given by the government to start their own business that will help improve their lives.

Hon. Salimar T. Mondjar, Municipal Mayor expressed his thanks to the Department for its unending support given to his constituents. He reiterated that DSWD is the department that cares to all from “womb to tomb.”

Lilia B. Guimare, Pag-asa, SKA President and Jenny Noos, Kabuhayan, SKA President received the check. A total of sixty beneficiaries compose the two SKAs in Barangay Limot, Veruela Agusan del Sur.

In the said event, the signing of the KALAHI – CIDSSC PAMANA Memorandum of Agreement also took place. ### ( TDB/ Social Marketing Unit)
