The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga recently brought together leaders from the Philippine Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) in Caraga to commemorate the 50th founding anniversary of the association – July 29, 2024.
Hosted by the Protective Services Division (PSD) Sectoral Unit, the event provided a platform for youth leaders to showcase their respective organizations’ achievements and exchange best practices, fostering collaboration and mutual learning among participating groups.
The participants also engaged in discussions on Essential Administrative Skills and Grounding Techniques, which aimed to equip them with strategies and activities to effectively cope with stress, thereby empowering them to lead their organizations more effectively.
By facilitating this gathering, DSWD Field Office Caraga aims to inspire the youth to initiate a ripple effect of positive change that will benefit future generations. This event signifies a commitment to nurturing and empowering young leaders to create a lasting impact on their communities.
