In response to an invitation from the Sangguniang Panglungsod of Butuan City, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, represented by Regional Field Coordinator Adelito Mendoza of Listahanan, participated in a joint committee hearing on August 28, 2024.

 The hearing, presided over by Hon. Cromwell Nortega, focused on the provisions of the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) concerning the Listahanan 3 database.

 During the hearing, RFC Mendoza underscored the necessity of appointing a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and ensuring robust measures to prevent any data breaches. He also elaborated on the roles and responsibilities of the first and second parties as outlined in the DSA.

It can be recalled that part of the requirements for obtaining the list of poor households is the SB Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into MOA with DSWD to use the Listahanan 3 database.
