A productive way to kickstart the final quarter of 2024 as the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program successfully linked new Community-Based Organizations made up of dedicated local farmers from Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte. This is in collaboration with the the Department of Agrarian Reform – Caraga.
This partnership not only empowers local farmers by providing them with better market access but also enhances the overall community’s resilience. By fostering collaboration and sharing resources, the network is creating sustainable pathways for growth and improving livelihoods.
As the program move forward, EPAHP, together with its partners are excited to explore innovative strategies that will amplify impact and ensure that the benefits of these partnerships reach those who need it most.
This collaboration promises to strengthen efforts in combating hunger and poverty in the region!
The Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program is a convergence strategy and a flagship program of the Inter-Agency Task Force βZero Hungerβ headed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development, It directly links Community Based Organizations to prospective markets both Government and Private Institution for sustainable resources of food.
The Task Force is participated by twenty-nine (29) National Agencies (eighteen partner-agencies in the Caraga Region) and two (2) International Agencies β World Food Programme and Food and Agriculture Organization.
