To recognize their invaluable contributions to the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and its impact on the improved and sustained well-being of its beneficiaries, various regional civil society organizations (CSOs) and local government partners were honored today, December 3, 2024, during the “Partnership Summit: Pasasalamat at Pagpupugay sa mga Partners ng Pantawid” at the Sequoia Hotel, Quezon City.
Surigao del Sur Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD) Officer Hershe Jen Nunez, Mary Grace Escopete from the Local Government of San Francisco, Surigao del Norte, and Ronald Lisayan, DBA, President and CEO of Friendship Goals Society Caraga-Butuan Inc., were among those recognized and awarded alongside CSOs and LGU partners from across the country.
DSWD Caraga also received citations for achieving 100% performance rating with all 2024 grievance cases resolved within the prescribed timelines of the Grievance Resolution System, achieving the 2024 GAA target of improved well-being, resulting in the 100% accomplishment of its regional targets, among others.
Mari-Flor Dollaga, Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, expressed her appreciation for the recognitions given to the Field Office’s partners. She noted that the awards reflect the commitment of 4Ps Caraga and its partners in improving the lives of the region’s 4Ps beneficiaries.
“This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts, hard work, and initiatives of the field office and its partners,” Dollaga said. “All of these efforts are aimed at enhancing the well-being of our 4Ps beneficiaries in Caraga. Truly, without the unwavering support of our esteemed partners in civil society organizations, local government units, our dedicated field workers, and the Regional Program Management Office, we wouldn’t be here today,” Dir. Dollaga said.
4Ps Division Chief Crislea Celeste also expressed her gratitude and support for the CSO and LGU partners who were honored.
“The recognitions bestowed upon us today have renewed our strength and enthusiasm to continue working diligently for our 4Ps beneficiaries,” Celeste said. “4Ps Caraga remains fully committed to doing its utmost for the people of Caraga in the pursuit of breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty in the region,” Celeste said.
Also present during the partnership summit were representatives from DSWD Field Offices, the National Advisory Council (NAC), the National Technical Working Group (NTWG), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Local Government Units (LGUs), and Development Partners.
