The local chief executives of the Caraga Region joined the launch of the RTEF.

National Convention for Project LAWA at BINHI in Pasay City, Metro Manila

 

The event brought together the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Offices, Local Chief Executives, Provincial Risk Resiliency Program Focal Persons, and other partners to showcase the project’s success stories and its impact on communities.

 

An exhibit showcasing Project LAWA at BINHI and the Ready-To-Eat-Food (RTEF) initiative was featured during the event, drawing positive feedback and engagement from the attendees.

The local chief executives, together with Dir. Mari-Flor Dollaga, include (from left to right): DRMD Chief Aldie Mae Andoy; Mayor Melody Compasivo of Libjo, Province of Dinagat Islands; Hon. Marvin Azarcon of Lanuza, Surigao del Sur; Hon. Elmer Evangelio of Lingig, Surigao del Sur; Dir. Mari-Flor Dollaga; Surigao del Norte Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Fe Saumat; and Del Carmen MSWDO Daniel Dumpa Jr.

As shown in the photos, Field Office Caraga, led by Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga and Disaster Response Management Division Chief Aldie Mae Andoy, is joined by Local Chief Executives: Hon. Deo Manpatilan of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur; Hon. Elmer Evangelio of Lingig, Surigao del Sur; Hon. Marvin Azarcon of Lanuza, Surigao del Sur; and Mayor Melody Compasivo of Libjo, Province of Dinagat Islands. Completing the FO Caraga team are the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officers, Provincial Risk Resiliency Program Focal Persons, and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officers.

 

The Convention runs from December 2-4, 2024.
