It is expected to benefit 232 households and 1,050 individuals. The facility will serve as a hub for various social, cultural, and economic activities of the barangay.
The turn-over ceremony was attended by National Government Officials, Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) Officials, DSWD-Caraga Officers, KALAHI-CIDSS Area Coordinating Teams (ACTs), Barangay Officials, and Community Volunteers.
Benjamin Salvador, Barangay Development Council-Technical Working Group (BDC-TWG) Chairperson conveyed optimism to the impact of multi-purpose building in the socio-economic development of the community.
“As we celebrate this milestone, let us remember that this is just the beginning. May this building inspire us to aim higher, work harder, and continue building a brighter future for our barangay. Let it serve as a reminder of the power of unity, hard work, and a shared vision,” Salvador expressed.
