SOCPEN UPDATE | 178,818 beneficiaries of the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SocPen) Program in the Caraga Region have received their pension for the first quarter of 2025 from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga.

As of this quarter, 96.82% of the target beneficiaries under DSWD Field Office Caraga’s SocPen Program have already claimed their stipend, amounting to a total of Php 536,454,000.00.
As of this posting, the second quarter payouts are kicking off in the Province of Surigao del Norte.
The Regional Social Pension Unit (RSPU) reminds beneficiaries to coordinate their payout schedules with the Local Social Welfare and Development Office. Additionally, they are encouraged to communicate with their Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and chapter presidents for more information.
Beneficiaries are also advised to stay at home, remain reachable, or communicate any issues and concerns early—prior to the scheduled payouts—so they can successfully claim their stipends and avoid delisting.
