The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Caraga Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) held the soft launch of “SLP BidaBest Products: Asenso Lokal, Suporta Total” today, April 11, 2025, at the DSWD Field Office Caraga Covered Court.
This meaningful initiative aims to elevate the quality of the products made by program participants, introduce them to a wider market, and strengthen local livelihoods.
Featured products include high-quality rattan-made handicrafts and pineapple wine and vinegar from the Province of Dinagat Islands; Hot and Spicy Bangus in Corn Oil and handmade bags crafted by local artisans from Siargao Island; as well as the unique Goatathiaone Goat’s Milk Soap from Agusan del Sur—along with other remarkable products that showcase the skill, hard work, and creativity of the SLP participants in the region.
DSWD Caraga Regional Director Mari-flor Dollaga and Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Jean Paul Parajes personally led the purchase of these products to show support for the initiative and patronage of the local products and the excellence of the participants who created them.
This program will be conducted every Friday to serve as a regular platform for selling and promoting the products of SLP participants. Through this, it is expected that local livelihoods will be further strengthened and that their products will be supported and introduced to more consumers.
