Four (4) out of the six (6) winners of the recently concluded Government of Australia –Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (GOA-DFAT) Essay Writing and Poster Making Contests were awarded their cash prizes and plaques during the Kapit-Bisg Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS) Municipal Inter-Barangay Forum (MIBF) in Lingig, Surigao del Sur.
Conducted at the regional level, the contest was held to serve as venue for beneficiaries of the various classroom buildings built through Kalahi-CIDSS – funded by DFAT, to express their thoughts and feelings on inclusive growth especially their contributions to their communities.
The winners are as follows: (L-R) Maebel N. Latiban (2nd place Essay),Girlie C. Pondong (1st place Essay), Jessica A. Gay-od (3rd place Essay), and Reymark Toroba Gay-od (3rd place Poster Making). They are from Rajah Cabungsuan Integrated Secondary School. The other winners are Keneth Joshua Plaza (1st place Poster Making) and Rage Edu Gomez (2nd place Poster Making), both from Ganayon Elementary School – Lianga, Surigao Del Sur.
