The tribal councils and community volunteers of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur link arms as a symbol of their unity as they stand together on their recently completed Municipal Tribal Hall. The said sub-project amounting to Php1,173,355, is funded through the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan- Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS).

Before the tribal hall was built, meetings of tribe members usually take place in the Municipal Tribal Chieftain’s abode which was too small to accommodate all of them. They also do not have a proper venue for holding activities based on their customs and beliefs. This is why all 32 barangays of Prosperidad have decided to push for and propose the Municipal Tribal Hall sub-project as a way to preserve their Manobo culture and to put value on indigenous people (IP) communities in the area. With the sub-project now completed, the IP communities of Prosperidad feel that even though they may be a minority, their voices can be heard and that when it comes to development, no one is excluded.

Kalahi-CIDSS is one of the programs of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that uses the Community Driven Development (CDD) approach to empower local communities to undertake their own development projects by actively and directly partaking in local governance in identifying their community needs as well as taking part of implementing projects that will address these.
