BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office Caraga joined the 15 other field offices in the recently concluded inter-regional photo exhibit held at the DSWD Central office lobby. The said activity was in line with the Department’s 59th Founding Anniversary Celebration which carries the theme “DSWD Kaagapay at Gabay sa Kinabukasan”

Conceptualized to be a contest, the photo exhibit showcased the field offices’ accomplishments of their programs and projects for 2009 based on the major final outputs or MFOs namely; 1) Services Relating to the Formulation and Advocacy of Policies, Plans and Programs 2) Standards Setting, Licensing and Accreditation Services 3) Provision of Support Services and Technical Assistance to Intermediaries 4) Services for Center-Based and Community-Based Clients which include Foreign Assisted and Locally Funded Special Projects.

The Field Office XII emerged as the winner followed by Field Office CAR, 2nd and Field Office II, 3rd. The winners received cash prizes and non-winners received consolation prizes.
The contest’s criteria for judging included the following: 1) content – 30% 2) composition/arrangement – 30% 3) technical elements – 20% 4) impact and viewer interest – 20%.
