BUTUAN CITY – As the lead agency in committees along sectors on social welfare, the Department of Social Welfare and Development Caraga region will hold the first simultaneous sectoral inter-agency meeting on June 9, 2011 at the Goat2geder Hotel and Restaurant, this city. The different member agencies and stakeholders are expected to attend the meeting.

The DSWD leads in committees on children, persons with disability, senior citizens, Filipino family, and anti trafficking in persons and violence against women and their children.

The meeting will focus on the discussion on the creation of the regional referral network on anti-trafficking and on the specific issues and concerns of the sectors. # # # (Social Marketing Unit)
