arielBUTUAN CITY – Sharing the conviction that a well-equipped human resource is very significant element in achieving the vision, mission and goals of the agency, the DSWD Caraga recently trained 33 staff on records management and property and supply management system held at the Amontay Beach Resort, Nasipit,  Agusan del Norte.

The participants composed of Administrative Assistants came from the different divisions and special projects of the field office – Pantawid Pamilya, Convergence Strategy, KALAHI-CIDSS, Operations Division, Technical Assistance Division, Management Division, and Home for Girls and Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth.

Tackled during the sessions in the entire training course include records management, records disposition, electronic tracking of records, excellent customer service, security of records and relevant department orders, the government procurement process, property and supply management, APP and PPMP preparation, streamlined procurement process for shopping goods, forecasting, ordering and delivering, inspection and acceptance, storage, warehousing and inventory taking, guidelines in disposal, different PMS forms, internal control,, accountability, responsibility and liability.

The participants expressed that through this training, all there queries were answered and issues raised were threshed out and clarified by the resource persons for each session. # # # (Social Marketing Unit)
