BUTUAN CITY – The officials and members of the DSWD Caraga staff celebrated the 61^st Founding Anniversary of the Department without fanfare.  The simple celebration started with a thanksgiving mass and was followed by dance exercises.

The highlights of the celebration included different Filipino games or laro ng lahi, cheering competition, treasure hunting and singing contest with focus on Visayan old songs.

The one day activity was not just a welcome break from work for the employees but also a symbolic way of keeping our continuous work for development.

This year’s celebration carries the theme DSWD @ 61: Tuloy-tuloy sa Kaunlaran. ### (Social Marketing Unit)
