BUTUAN CITY – The Field Office Caraga welcomed its new leader, Director Minda Bulatao Brigoli.
The turnover of responsibilities took place at the conference hall of DSWD Caraga in a simple ceremony on January 8, 2013. As part of the turnover activities, outgoing director Mercedita P. Jabagat, presented to Director Brigoli the situationer of field office Caraga to include the status of staff complement. Director Jabagat is now assigned in Region VII.
Undersecretary Mateo G. Montano confirmed director Brigoli as the new Caraga director during the field office’s celebration of DSWD’s 62nd Founding Anniversary on January 21, 2013 at Goat2geder Hotel and Restaurant, Butuan City.
The confirmation of Director Brigoli was witnessed by the representatives from the National Government Agencies (NGAs), Non –government Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Local Government Units (LGUs).
A strong advocate for people’s participation and empowerment, Director Brigoli strongly believes in the limitless capacities of people through collective action to change and development. It has been manifested by her passion and commitment in managing the implementation of various government poverty alleviation programs.
Her dedication and hard work gained recognition and bigger responsibilities were put on her shoulders when she was promoted to regional director position. Her first assignment was Region III.
In her message, Director Brigoli emphasized the thrusts and priorities and the leadership brand of the Department. She urged the staff to serve the people with MATAPAT, MAHUSAY at MAGILIW brand of service.
