BUTUAN CITY – In support to the on-going relief operations to the victims of armed conflict in Zamboanga City, the Department of Social Welfare and Development has continuously augmented the local government with relief goods.

Doing its share is DSWD Caraga Field Office.  DSWD Caraga regional director Minda B. Brigoli told DSWD Caraga personnel to fast track the delivery of goods.

A total of 3,000 family food packs worth P827, 833.33; 490 woollen blankets worth 336,477.37; and 1 unit wiikhall aluminum structure or relocatable building worth P 821,569.88 – wiikhall aluminum structure is used most frequently as a warehouse for storage and distribution of food, were hauled yesterday to Zamboanga City and is expected to arrive today, September 12, 2013.

The total augmentation from DSWD Caraga amounted to P1, 985880.58. ### (Social Marketing Unit)
