The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga Region presented its State of the Region Address (SORA) son September 20, 2013 at the DSWD office in Butuan City.

Director Minda B. Brigoli initiated the presentation of SORA that highlighted the accomplishments of the Field Office on the implementation of social protection programs, projects and services such as the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS), National Household Targeting Program for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) or Listahanan , Social Pension, Supplementary Feeding Program, Recovery and Reintegration Program of Trafficked Persons (RRPTP), Program and Services for Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL), Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Programs, Projects and Activities, Convergence Strategy, DSWD Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategic Goals.

The press conference and distribution of certificates of accreditation to Day care workers and day care centers, and distribution of certificates of registration and license to operate for NGOs followed after the SORA.
