On the other hand, there are still 119, 353 poor households who have availed at least one(1) social protection service and 52, 532 (22.61%) poor HHs are not yet served of any social welfare development programs and services as of August 2013, Babanto said on her presentation.

LGUs were also encouraged as front liners in delivering social services to the needy for them to support and to use the Listahanan database of the poor.

“I really appreciate the data of Listahanan. It is a great help to us. It is very useful to determine the poor households in our Municipalities. I have now the basis of our data for our write-ups and in delivering our social protection programs to our potential beneficiaries,” shared insights ofJudalyn de Castro, MSWDO of Marihatag, Surigaodel Sur.

Listahanan is an information management system that identifies who and where the poor are in the country. ### Social Marketing Unit (Maria Cecilia N. Sosas)
