Butuan City, Jan 23 – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga has increased its relief assistance to Php 9,435,598.32 to the affected families in the region.

Three million pesos (P3,000,000.00) of the said amount came from DSWD Field Office XI. Other private organization like the EQUI_PARCO has also extended its help to the flood victims which cost P 1,500,000.00.

The additional relief goods have already been distributed to the places of Surigao City 500 family packs, Province of Dinagat Islands 2,000 family packs, Tubay 1,000 family packs and Butuan City 4,000 family packs which were all transported by the military truck.
