Butuan City – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office (DSWD FO -) Caraga conducted series of City-Municipal Action Team (C/MAT) Conferences in the region.

Attended by the C-MAT Leaders, Provincial Links of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program and Leaders of the Social Welfare and Development Teams (SWADTs), the conferences were conducted in Mt. Bagabaron, Mabua, Surigao City;  Marihatag Tree Park, Marihatag, Surigao Del Sur; Provincial Learning Center (PLC), Patin-ay, Prosperidad, ADS, and at DSWD Conference Room, Field Office on May 28 – June 11.

 The C-MAT Conference discussed the different experiences in the field on the operationalization of convergence strategy.  It came – up with recommendations based on the successful and effective innovations made by the teams.

It is recalled that C-MAT operates not only for the harmonization and synchronization of the programs and services of the department but also ensures that complementation of programs and services of the partner local government units, civil society organizations and other stakeholders based on their commitments to the City/Municipal Transition Plans are carried- out.
