Rosario, ADS – DSWD Municipal Action Team (MAT) in the municipality of Rosario, Agusan del Sur converged and organized the recently conducted Pantawid Pamilya Livelihood day in the municipality which was participated by all of the 11 barangays of Rosario, Agusan del Sur.
Different booths with different products were showcased during the Pantawid Pamilya Livelihood activity. Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries also showed their different talents such as singing and dancing.
“Despite the problems that some of the beneficiaries of Rosario experienced, the event helped the beneficiaries to express themselves, to have fun and show their talents to their co-beneficiaries and implementers,” said Genelie Segura, Municipal Link Officer (MLO) of Rosario.
A thanksgiving mass was also conducted for all the hardworking and supportive implementers of the program.
One of the highlights of the activity was the check turn-over worth eight million one hundred fifty thousand pesos (8,150.000.00) of the Sustainable Livelihood Program of DSWD Caraga to Self-Employment Kaunlaran Associations in the municipality which was also composed of Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries.
The MAT was composed of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, National Community-Driven Development Program (NCDDP), Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), and the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer for Indigenous People (MCCT-IP) staff. ### (Stella Maris V.
