Butuan City– Eleven (11) staff across Caraga Region join the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga Regional Got Talent held at the Field Office Conference Hall.
Archie Anobling of the Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) Pantawid brings home the bacon as he rings the crowd when he paints Sec. Dinky’s image covering four minutes and forty eight seconds in performance. Lea Jane Gemino, Municipal Link Officer (MLO) of Esperanza ranks as the second placer when she sings ‘If I were a boy” by Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter. Hazel Castillo, Social Welfare Officer (SWO) III from Agusan del Norte and Irish Basil, MLO of Kitcharao rank as third placer when they performed “Tell Him” by Celion Dion and Barbra Streisand.
“Masayang-masaya ako at binigyan natin ng panahon ang aktibidades na ito na nagpapakita kung gaano ka galing at kahusay sa pag-awit, pagsayaw at sa kung ano-anong talento na tunay na yamang taglay ng bawat empleyado ng departamentong ito, lalong-lalo na dito sa ating rehiyon, ang Caraga,” Regional Director Minda B. Brigoli, CESO III shared.
“We hope for the best as our winners represent our Region in the national competition,” Brigoli added.
The Regional level competition is in preparation for DSWD’s Got Talent Nationwide Invasion on January 30, 2015 at the DSWD Grounds (in front of the Magiliw Building). The said competition is open to all DSWD personnel and employees (MOA, Contractual and Regular).
Anobling has received 3,000.00 Php cash as prize being the champion of the said competition. The second placer received 2,000.00 Php cash prize; the third received 1,000.00 Php cash prize and eight consolation prizes worth of 500.00 Php to every participating entry.
Both, Anobling and Gemino are from Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. As to date, the two will undergo series of practices so as to better their performance when they represent the field office in the National Competition (###DSWDCaraga###).
