Rosario, Agusan del Sur- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga held a semestral Systems Conference at Sarnimian’s Place, Rosario, Agusan del Sur last June 4-5, 2015 which was participated by sixty-two (62) DSWD Staff across Caraga Region.

The activity roars the theme “Intensifying Systems Processes: Protecting Data Integrity and Accessibility.”

The conference aims to identify challenges and concerns about program implementation that serves as basis for a deeper analysis to improve program operation, report and feedback highlights of activities in the area and share plans, orient participants with the new system’s policies and guidelines and identify strategy to improve deliverables, and prepare an action plan to address identified issues and concerns.

“In its continuing effort to facilitate the effective implementation of the program with its three (3) major systems, a conference shall be convened so that guidelines and procedures are properly coordinated, disseminated and most importantly, these procedures are appropriately performed by system focals,” DSWD Regional Director Minda B. Brigoli, CESO III said.

“The said conference will serve as a perfect avenue for provision of technical assistance and discuss relevant matters that would help improve the implementation of the program in their respective areas. Therefore, to organize for a systems conference is not only a necessity but a strategy to achieve effective team effort and program enhancement,” Brigoli closed.

The said event harmonizes the three systems under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program to play an essential part in order to organize the program implementation, address issues systematically, and effectively ensure to meet the program objectives.

These systems include the Compliance Verification System (CVS), Grievance Redress System (GRS), and the Beneficiary Update System. The three work harmoniously to ensure that program policies and guidelines are implemented on the right track (###DSWDFieldOfficeCaragaSocialMarketingUnit###).
