Butuan City-DSWD Secretary Hon. Corazon Juliano-Soliman graces DSWD-13 Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on parent leaders’ transformation during the fourth day of the National Management Development Conference (NMDC) at Samping Avenue, Butuan City.

In the event, Secretary Soliman challenges Pantawid Pamilya partner-beneficiaries to become true agents of social change in their own community.

“Kayo ang aming lakas. Kayo ang aming inspirasyon para masaya nating ma-ipagpatuloy ang ating magandang nasimulan. Hubugin nyo ang inyong sarili at maging tunay na instrumento ng Pagbabago di lang sa inyong mga sarili kundi pati na rin sa kanya-kanya ninyong mga pamilya at komunidad,” Sec. Soliman said.

“Dahil ang minimithi natin na pagbabago ay dapat na manggaling sa inyo. Kayo ang aming modelo. Kayo ang mukha ng Pantawid Pamilya sa inyong mga komunidad dahil kayo ang nagpapatunay na mayroong pagbabago sa mga buhay ninyo,” Sec. Soliman added.

Before the secretary’s hour, Sec. Soliman was able to listen to the report of the parent leaders. She also answered some queries raised by representative parent-leaders during the course of the discussion.

It was attended by 100 parent leaders from the selected municipalities in Agusan del Sur and Agusan del Norte (###DSWDFOCaragaSocialMarketingUnit###).
