Pantawid Pamilya MCCT workers and Sustainable Livelihood Program PDOs during the stratplanning at LJ Mega Convention Center, Butuan City

Butuan City– The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) together with Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program conducted on August 20,2015 at LJ Mega Convention, this city a strategic planning regarding the project development and assessment for the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) areas in Caraga

In the region, MCCT implementation covers 31 municipalities/cities covering the four (4) provinces namely, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur.

The activity aims to craft a plan for possible livelihood interventions for MCCT program partner-beneficiaries. The said activity was attended by the DSWD regional program management office staff, SLP project development officers assigned in MCCT areas, MCCT- caseworkers and community facilitators together with the respective provincial link officers of Pantawid Pamilya.

As program handlers who will assess the MCCT livelihood projects at the community level, the planning is a venue to ensure fast implementation of the support services intervention on livelihood to MCCT partner beneficiaries.

MCCT program is designed to reach out to families who are definitely poor and more vulnerable and disadvantaged but are not covered of the regular CCT because of their being excluded in the enumeration of the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) or Listahanan.
