Agusan del Sur – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Caraga dedicated its Kapit-Bisg Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS) Sub-Regional Program Management Office (SRPMO) 2 station at Dela Rosa Building, Barangay 1, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur last August 13, 2015.

Regional Director Minda B. Brigoli was on hand to celebrate the long-awaited inauguration of the station, together with Assistant Regional Director for Operations Mita G. Lim, the Regional Program Management Office (RPMO), SRPMO, Area/Municipal Coordinating Teams (ACT/MCT) of San Francisco and guests.

Director Brigoli expressed her warm wishes to the occupants of the station, hoping that blessings would come to those occupying the building and to those who are benefiting from, and part of the operations of Kalahi-CIDSS.

The creation of an SRPMO ensures faster response and keen monitoring on the operation of the program especially in remote municipalities covered by Kalahi-CIDSS. This also ensures timely submission of documents and a more effective flow of communication from the regional office down to the community level.

The SRPMO will house field workers assigned to cover the program operations of Kalahi-CIDSS, specifically, the social, infrastructure, and financial aspects of Kalahi-CIDSS for clusters 3 and 4.   ###(Social Marketing Unit/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
