Butuan City– The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga reminds partner-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program that only DSWD has the authority to delist program beneficiaries if they will not comply to the conditions set by the program.

As the Department launches the campaign dubbed “Pagbabagong Nasimulan, Tuloy sa Tuwid na Daan”, which was formerly called BAED or Bawal ang Epal Dito campaign, it airs the message of hope and challenge to the beneficiaries to properly use the cash grants they are receiving from the program.

Palagi nating pinaaalahan ang ating mga partner-beneficiaries that the cash grants that they are receiving from Pantawid Pamilya should be used properly for the education and health of their children,” DSWD-Caraga Regional Director Minda B. Brigoli said.

“Based on our data, we are so lucky that our partner-beneficiaries are compliant to the conditions set by the program. They are sending their children to school and in health centers, and most of all, parents attend the monthly-held Family Development Session (FDS),” Brigoli added.

The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program is implemented by DSWD in partnership with partner-agencies, civil society organizations (CSOs), and beneficiaries.

Thus, only DSWD has the authority to remove the partner—beneficiaries from the lists of program recipients if they will not comply with the listed conditions.

The Pantawid Pamilya is a program of the national government implemented through and by DSWD.
