The farmers who are greatly affected by Dry Spell (based on the report of the Department of Agriculture and Municipal Agriculture Office) finally receive the family food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)-Caraga. These are being distributed through the parishes, Social Action Centers (SAC) and Red Cross in the region.

In the photo, affected farmers from Las Nieves, Agusan del Sur express their gratitude through their smiling faces as they receive 4 family food packs equivalent to 24 kilos of rice, 32 tins of tinapa and corned beef/beef loaf, 24 pieces of noodles and 24 pieces of 3-in-1 coffee amounting to Php1,640.00 per family.
