“Pantawid Pamilya has helped me send my children to school so that they would have a wonderful future,” Liezel B. Abella said.

“Through my participation in the monthly conducted family development session (FDS), I was encouraged to finish college.  Now, while my children are happy in school, I am also as inspired as them as I continue my degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education at Agusan del Sur College (ADSCO),” she added.

Liezel, 30, is one of the partner-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program from Labao, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur. She is a daycare worker, a participant of the Sustainable Livelihood Program  (SLP),  and an active volunteer of the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan- Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS) in their barangay.
