Amidst distance and geographical location, the regional validating team for the 2017 Regional Search for Exemplary Child, Huwarang Pamilya and Modelong Parent Leader graciously conducted the field validation on June 29-30, July 4-8, 2017 within the five provinces of Caraga Region.

In the photos, the regional validating team who at the same time served as the board of adjudicators took a picture with the Pantawid Pamilya City Links in Bayugan City along with the select Barangay Councilors of Barangay Calaitan as they walk their way to Sitio Neo Bohol where one of the finalists of the regional search for exemplary child resides.

The almost 3-hour walk (back and forth) was worth it as the team was welcomed pleasantly by the community folks with a song. One of the members of the community expressed that it was the first time they were visited by a team from a government agency, and so their hearts speak not through words, but through action###RyanMalbasTapayan/SocialMarketingUnit/DSWDFieldOfficeCaraga###
