The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga continues to serve the returning Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) from Luzon.

The Hatid Tulong Program, of which the Agency is part of has already catered 5,805 LSIs and 541 ROFs as of August 3, 2020. The assistance given were meals upon arrival, family food packs, and cash assistance during their travel from Luzon to Caraga.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through the Protective Services Division, distributed hot meals and food packs to the locally stranded Caraganons from Luzon.

A total amount of Php1,219,019 (Php129,757 for hot meals and Php1,809,262 pesos for food packs) was given to the LSIs and Php140,760.50 pesos for ROFs (Php32,216.40 for hot meals and Php108,544.10 for food packs).

For LSIs and ROFs who still have different needs after going back to their respective cities/municipalities, they can still avail of the services of the Agency through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program as long as they have the necessary documents in requesting for aid from the program.

DSWD FO Caraga continues in serving the people through its kalainga at pagmamahal and may malasakit na serbisyo.###
