A total of 7,470 slots are available for possible replacement of poor families for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the Set 10 beneficiaries.

Enacted as a law in 2019, 4Ps is a national poverty reduction program aiming to improve the well-being of poor Filipino families in the country, through the provision of social assistance and social development. For over 12 years, the Program has stayed true to its commitment in improving the lives of its beneficiaries, proven through the success stories and annual exiting of households available for replacement.

The household replacement targets to reach the 4.4 million poor households (HHs) covered by the program. As of last year, it has a total of 4,250,272 active HHs, thus it needs 297,720 HHs to be able to catch up and maintain its target until 2022.

“As directed, we shall follow the procedural plans based on the approved Beneficiary Data Management System (BDMS) field manual, and additional measures of the Set 10 registration starting this month until the end of the year,” Ramel Jamen, OIC-Regional Director of DSWD FO Caraga shared.

The identified list of potential HHs for registration is based on the Listahanan 2 results, and is posted in the respective Local Government Units (LGUs). A Facebook group is also created to cater to the answering of queries and transactions for the the enrolment process to limit physical contact and maintain the existing health protocols. All identified HHs may search “4PsCaraga Set10 Registration” and join the group. ###(Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
