The Institutional Partnership and Development Officers (IPDOs) of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Caraga conducted a facility visit at San Francisco National High School last April 12, 2022 to verify the compliance of 4Ps beneficiaries and learners especially with the preparation for the face-to-face learning.

Renirose R. Minguita, 4Ps coordinator in Education, shared that after typhoon Odette’s wrath, the school now only has five (5) available classrooms, giving the teachers and staff a hectic schedule for face-to-face classes. For the health compliance of the beneficiaries, the IPDOs visited Barangay Honrado health center and leveled-off with Miriam Tan, 4Ps coordinator in Health, with the retrieval of Compliance Verification (CV) forms.

Importante ang paggamit ani nga porma. Sa karon, mas natuon ang among atensyon sa pagbakuna apil na ang mga beneficiaries (The use of these forms are necessary. But for now, we are focusing our attention on the vaccination rate of beneficiaries),” Tan cited.

Furthermore, the staff were welcomed by School Principal Arthur Jamera, PhD, ALT during the facility visit and monitoring at Surigao City National High School on April 13, 2022.

The monitoring includes:

1) School Profile – wherein the number of enrolled students and/of 4Ps children beneficiaries, classrooms, teachers, and the ratio of supply-side data (teacher to student, classroom to student, student to book, chair to student) is verified; and

2) Program Implementation – wherein the compliance   of the beneficiaries, inventory of 4Ps achievers/academic awardees, regular meetings with City Link Officers and/or Social Welfare Assistants, are tracked.

Ang 4Ps dako og tabang labi na sa voluntary contribution ug physical development sa eskwelahan. Nakatabang ang Programa labi na sa pagdugang sa learning sa bata, ug marajaw sab ang school environment (4Ps has been a great help in terms of voluntary contribution and physical development to the school. The Program aided in adding value to the children’s learning especially that the school environment is also conducive),” Jamera noted.

The facility visits and composite monitoring is a regular activity of the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) 1st Quarterly Meeting to enhance the partnership of the Local Government Units, DSWD Field Office Caraga, and other national-line agencies; and provide appropriate recommendations to address the supply-side gaps of the Program implementation. ###(Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)###(Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
