One of the beneficiaries in Barangay Awao, Esperanza Marquez proudly flaunts her cash received from the CFW payout.

As part of the call of strengthening the resiliency of both the natural systems and urban built environment while providing income support to poor and vulnerable families, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, take heed by continually conducting series of payouts to the beneficiaries of Risk Resiliency Program – Cash for Work (RRP-CFW) of Sta. Josefa, Agusan Del Sur, on August 5, 2022.

 

Around four hundred (400) beneficiaries from the barangays of Awao and Sayon, Sta. Josefa, received their pay for the 10-day duration of work. Beneficiaries from the said barangays fully received the three hundred twenty (Php320) pesos per day pay, amounting to Php 3,200 for 10 days work.

 

“Nalipay kayo ko. Dugay nako gahandom nga magtrabaho ko para makatabang ko sa akong bana. Tungod sa CCAM natabangan ko nga makakwarta pod bisan sa mubo ra nga panahon (I’m greatly happy. It has been my desire to get a work where I can put up with my husband’s income. With Cash for work, it made a way for me to generate income too even in just a short while),” Esperanza Marquez, 44 years old, CFR beneficiary of Barangay Awao, said with a beaming warm smile.

Within the duration, beneficiaries collaboratively work for the Endemic Tree-growing Project which was proposed by the province.

 

Aside from the municipalities of Sta. Josefa, Agusan Del Sur, beneficiaries from the following municipalities; San Francisco, Surigao Del Norte and Carmen, Surigao Del Sur, also received their pay on the same day.
