Payout on the weekend – As the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga relentlessly deliver its services, another batch of Cash-for-Wo  rk (CFW) beneficiaries received their pay on August 6, 2022.

Disaster Response Management Division staff of DSWD FO Caraga served as paymasters during the payout on August 6, 2022.

A total of 1,462 beneficiaries from the 17 barangays of the City of Cabadbaran Agusan Del Norte – Barangays of Mahaba, Puting Bato, Comagascas, Sanghan, Mabini, Bay-ang, Concepcion, Bayabas, Soriano, Antonio Luna, Calamba, Katugasan, Del Pilar, Pob. 2, Pob. 9 and Pob. 12, completely received their compensation for the 10-day duration of work.

 

Projects being implemented in the said barangays are; bamboo planting, construction of school perimeter fence and household data gathering.

 

“Thank you so much! I’m one of the recipients of CCAM program payout worth Php3,200. This is greatly helpful for my family. Thank you,” Cris Villarejo, recipient-beneficiary of Cash for Work in Barangay Comagascas, Cabadbaran City, Agusan Del Norte expressed after receiving his pay.

Division Chief Melanie Juan, actively handed over the Php 3,200 to one of the recipient-beneficiary of CFW.

The Risk Resiliency Program – Cash for Work (RR-CFW) of the DSWD seeks to support the income of the poor and vulnerable individuals, while implementing community projects to equip them or prepare them for disasters in their localities. .
