On October 18, 2022, the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program of the DSWD Field Office Caraga conducted a Mapping of Supply and Demand activity at the Pavilion, Butuan City. This activity was attended by Agusan del Norte based-community based organizations (CBOs), the 23rd Infantry Brigade, the 402nd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, and the DSWD Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga’s Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program held a Mapping of Supply and Demand activity at the Pavilion, Butuan City on October 18, 2022.

The activity aims to assist community-based organizations by linking them to potential demand partners. This was participated by Agusan del Norte based-CBOs and three prospective markets namely: the 23rd Infantry Brigade, 402nd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, and DSWD Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

Members of community-based organizations discuss matters regarding their products during the activity.

Five CBOs from the National Irrigation Administration, Department of Agrarian Reform, and DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program will be assisted through the program in their provision of agricultural products to the prospective markets such as milled rice, assorted vegetables, assorted spices, eggs, fruits, and meat products.

EPAHP is a convergence project of the national government that aims to mitigate hunger, ensure food safety and security, and reduce the poverty rate in the country.  (Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
