A total of 51,113 households in Caraga Region are set to be included as beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in 2023, as addition/replacement to the over 170,000 active 4Ps household beneficiaries in the region.

As of November 30, 2022, there are 179,937 active household beneficiaries in Caraga, of which 170,500 families are beneficiaries of the regular conditional cash transfer (RCCT) and 9,437 families belong to the modified conditional cash transfer (MCCT).

The 4Ps Caraga announced that registration of these 51,113 households (Set 12 registration) will start in February until March this year. Names of these potential household beneficiaries are posted in their barangays.

Ms. Crislea D. Celeste, 4Ps Caraga Division Chief, said that these additional/replacement households will benefit the said program like those thousands of families who exited/graduated from the program in the previous years.

The 4Ps, implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), is a human development measure of the national government that provides conditional cash grants to the poorest of the poor, to improve the health, nutrition, and the education of children aged 0-18.

DC Celeste said the 51,113 households are considered eligible for the program based on the National Household Targeting System or Listahanan Survey conducted in 2019.

Eligible for the program are families with pregnant member and have children 0-18 years old, classified as poor and near poor belonging to sectors/families of farmers, fisherfolk, homeless, Indigenous People, and those living in geographically-isolated and disadvantaged areas. To be part of the program, these families should be willing to comply with the program conditionalities.

Meanwhile, potential family beneficiaries should prepare and secure required documents for the Set 12 registration.

Below are the requirements for the Set 12 registration:
