An Exit Conference and Sustainability Workshop on SIPAG e-SCMS is being conducted by Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office Caraga – Social Technology Unit on March 09, 2023 at Bislig Highland Function Farm, Surigao del Sur.

This event is the culmination of an enormous collective effort which began in February 2019 when Bislig City was selected as one of the project’s pilot LGU. SIPAG e-SCMS or the Sustaining Interventions for Poverty Alleviation in Governance electronic – Social Case Management System is an attempt to automate the social work case management method through e-SCMS, which facilitates electronic documentation of cases and timely report generation.

The system allows social workers/SPELL OUT (LSWDOs) to collaboratively assess the needs of identified clients and their families, whenever appropriate. It allows users to arrange, coordinate, monitor, evaluate and advocate for a complete package of services to effectively meet the basic or complex needs of the clients.

On behalf of DSWD Caraga Regional Director Mari-Flor A. Dollaga, Assistant Regional Director for Administration (ARDA) Atty. Faizal Padate expressed in a recorded video message his appreciation to the supportive partners from the Social Technology Bureau-Pilot Implementation Division Central Office, who afforded Team Caraga their time and presence for this activity, most especially to their Division Chief Ms. Marilyn B. Moral, and her colleague, Ms. Fredelyn Alcancia.

Dir. Padate also thanked the LGU Case Managers of Bislig City, whose devotion made the SIPAG system a success.
