The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga spearheaded the conduct of the Caraga Social Welfare and Development Learning Network (SWD-LNet) 1st Quarter Meeting cum Knowledge Sharing Session, April 14, 2023, at the Pavilion, Lime and Zest Hotel.

Stakeholders from the Academe, Civil Society Organizations, Regional Line Agencies, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), and Local Government Unit (LGU) representatives gathered to intensify social welfare and development initiatives such as conducting studies and research to respond to the social welfare and protection needs of different sectors here in the region.

SWD Learning Network aims to foster continued growth and sharing of knowledge and expertise through the provision of relevant capacity building programs to DSWD and to its partners and stakeholders.

Knowledge is power but collaborating to be able to impart and use knowledge for the better of society can empower an entire community.
