DSWD Field Office Caraga hosts consultation dialogue and orientation with Persons With Disability (PWD) regional focal persons to discuss the new disability laws and issuances on June 19-23, 2023 in General Luna, Surigao del Norte.
With its mandate to promote and protect the vulnerable sectors which includes the PWDs, the activity is conducted for DSWD together with partner agencies to develop a regional plan of action for the monitoring and implementation of persons with disability welfare programs.
This ensures continuous efforts to strengthen the collaboration among diversified sectors for efficient understanding of issues and concerns of Persons with Disability; to better the implementation of the law pertinent to PWDs; and to continue to give clients and beneficiaries a maagap at mapagkalingang serbisyo.
