The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga’s strengthened efforts in capacitating and safeguarding clients and staff of the Home For Girls (HFG) staff and clients by participating in the conduct of the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).  The Center Facility also underwent a Fire Drill administered by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Butuan City through FO1 Carl Joy Acido.

DSWD Caraga acknowledges the service of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Butuan City, the Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD), and the officials from the council of Barangay Bonbon who served as evaluators of the activity.

The active participation of the Centers and Residential Care Facilities in these kinds of activities is the manifestation of the continued efforts and initiative of DSWD Field Office Caraga to strengthen its capacity to respond and reduce the impacts of earthquake and fire occurrences.
