The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through the Crisis Intervention Section, conducted the first batch of Consultation Dialogue with the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) Service Providers from Agusan del Sur (AdS) held at San Franciso, AdS last July 17, 2023.

Being one of the extensive, big-ticket programs of the Agency, the Field Office acknowledges the importance of partners in the implementation of AICS such as hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, other medical institutions, and funeral homes in providing the immediate needs of the clients more than the financial assistance given to them.

In the continued efforts to smoothen the delivery of services, the goal of the consultation dialogue is to come- up with concrete agreements. Furthermore, Service Providers re-oriented on the MC 16 series of 2022, which is the Revised Guidelines on the Implementation of AICS Program, and update them on the type of assistance provided by DSWD.

DSWD Field Office Caraga believes that partnerships are strengthened through continued dialogue, acknowledging lapses, and working on where concerns can be addressed and improved. All for a maagap at magpakalingang serbisyo.
