585 individuals-in-crisis receive cash assistance worth Php10,000 from DSWD Field Office Caraga, through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) Program during the distribution of various government assistance headed by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. at Agusan del Norte Capitol Covered Court in Butuan City — July 12, 2023.

In his speech, PBBM highlighted the best efforts of the government’s assistance for those in need, especially those who have not yet recovered from the pandemic. He stated that the government’s priority is to create a better economy in order to improve the lives of the Filipino people encouraging unity amongst all in order to achieve this goal.

“Nagsisimula pa lamang po tayo at walang tigil ito hanggang masasabi natin na wala nang nangangailangan ng Tupad, ng AICS, o ng mga cash assistance dahil may trabaho na lahat, iyon ang hangarin nating lahat. Magtulungan tayo para maabot natin ang ating mga pinapangarap para sa ating mga kababayan at para sa ating minamahal na Pilipinas,” Marcos said.

DSWD Field Office Caraga ensures the delivery of maagap at mapagkalingang serbisyo through the leadership of Field Office Director Mari-Flor Dollaga. This is in keeping with Secretary Rex Gatchalian’s mandate that social services are brought closer to the poor, under-served, and vulnerable kababayans following the advocacy that all lives matter to DSWD.
