DSWD Caraga represented by Julieto Ompad, evaluated the earthquake drill in the motor pool capitol.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga joins the nation in conducting a nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill (NSED) in the Provincial Capitol of Agusan del Norte, on September 7, 2023.

NSED aims to increase public awareness and preparedness for earthquakes, ensuring that people in different parts of the country are familiar with earthquake safety procedures, especially during real-time earthquake scenarios.

DSWD FO Caraga Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga delivered her defining message during the activity, which was also attended by other government line agencies. ,“Ang pagiging handa ay hindi patungkol sa gusto nating gawin kundi ito ay kailangan nating gawin.
