A DSWD staff from the Sustainable Livelihood Program released an amount of PhP15,000 as livelihood assistance to a beneficiary on October 17, 2023, at the Social Hall, Tandag City, in Surigao del Sur.

Four individuals from the municipalities of Barobo, Lianga, Lingig, and Marihatag in Surigao del Sur received livelihood assistance from the DSWD Field Office Caraga through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), on Tuesday– October 17, 2023.

Through the individual-referral modality of DSWD-SLP, each beneficiary received an amount of PhP15,000, which serves as the capital for their chosen livelihood activity.
