The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office (CO) visited DSWD Field Office (FO) Caraga to conduct a Skills Assessment of the Multidisciplinary Team in the provision of programs and services in the DSWD Centers and Residential Care Facilities – October 17-18, 2023.

The Assessment Team, headed by Assistant Secretary (ASEC.) Glenda Relova and Program Management Bureau (PMB) Director Maricel Deloria met with DSWD Caraga Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga, who, in turn, expressed support for the CO’s move to ensure the quality of the delivery of services to clients.

Divided in two, they simultaneously evaluated the Field Office Caraga’s Residential Care Facilities – Home For Girls located in Brgy. Bonbon, Butuan City, and the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

The conduct of the activity aligns with DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian’s goal to take DSWD’s CRCF up a notch and elevate its efficiency by identifying gaps among the workforce and bridging them through practical and effective solutions.
